About

Mission and Vision

Xavier House Unlimited is a 501(c)3 designated organization and was created to identify and support high-potential youth in foster care. Residents at Xavier House are selected through a research-supported multi-step screening process that considers behaviors that are consistent with high intelligence.

We strive to understand our foster children for who they are and to see them through a lens of possibilities. We assess each resident’s intellectual and educational needs and create a plan to meet those needs. The culture of Xavier House is supportive and cultivates a sense of belonging.

Our residents receive enrichment so that they have the skills to successfully navigate higher education or a skilled trade. We provide 24-hour care and supervision using a rotating house-parent model. Staff are selected and highly trained in managing the needs that come with caring for high-intelligence children.
